Clifford All Saints today is a very different school from the one described in its last full Ofsted inspection. That inspection, in 2021, judged the predecessor school "Requires Improvement". When we converted to academy status in 2024 and joined the James Montgomery Academy Trust (JMAT), the school that report was written about officially closed* — and a new Clifford All Saints CofE Primary School was born: a single-site primary, under new leadership, with many new staff.

Since then, our team has redesigned the curriculum, sharpened our teaching, strengthened our inclusive practice, and raised outcomes for the children we serve. Our safeguarding is rigorous, and we're proud of what our pupils achieve — in 2025, 92% of our Year 6 children met the expected standard in reading, against a national average of 76%.

Alongside those results, we're a small school where every child is known by name, valued as an individual, and part of a community that looks out for one another.

*When you open the 2021 report, you will see the school listed as "closed". That simply reflects the paperwork of converting to an academy in 2024 and receiving a new URN. The school has been open and running throughout; you can find our new Ofsted URN listing here.
